Lesser Scaup at Barrage El-Mansour Eddahbi, Morocco

A Lesser Scaup (Aythya affinis) photographed at Barrage El-Mansour Eddahbi, Ouarzazate, on 18 March 2017 by Chris Townend during his Wise Birding tour to Morocco. It’s the 7th record for Morocco.

Thanks Chris for mentioning this in Twitter.

Updates on other rarities:

The White-throated Bee-eater at Dakhla is seen practically daily (last seen yesterday). It looks very active and feels like he own the place (I added a photo and a video showing what he does best: catching insects).

Also, the Golden Nightjars and flocks of Sudan Golden Sparrows are still present at Oued Jenna, Aousserd.
